In order to make learning more efficient for children, integrating games in the lessons would be the most effective way. One of the things children need to learn is how to respond to fire emergency situations. If you want your kids to relate to firefighting stuff, giving them their favorite cartoon character such as Fireman Sam to give them lessons and deliver games for them to practice their firefighting skills online.

Games

There are four categories under the games section in Fireman Sam’s website: Matching, Painting, Racing & Mazes, and Rescue. Each category has corresponding games for kids to work on.

Matching

Music to Your Gears: In this game, Jupiter the dog will give a specific sequence of sounds. The player has to use Fireman Sam to recall the sounds in order. They can also record their own song in this game.

What’s That Sound?: When the lights have gone out because of the lightning that stroke Pontypandy, the player needs to help Trevor Evans to recognize the sounds to the corresponding picture.

Racing & Mazes

Poles & Ladders: This game resembles Snakes & Ladders. The player competes with Naughty Norman to the finish line by crossing the phases of the board, climbing stairs, and avoiding fires. However, it will be the player to move their places in order to practice their math skills as well.

Lifeboat Launch: One of the vehicles firemen use for their operation are lifeboats. In this game, the player will have to launch the lifeboat as far as they can.

Rescue

Helicopter Hotspot: In this game, the player needs to use the arrow keys to navigate the helicopter and collect stars for the water reserves. The water reserves are to be used as source of water for putting out fires. In order to splash water on the fires with the helicopter, the player has to press the space bar.

Radar the Sniffer Dog: There is one lost resident in Pontypandy! To find him, the player needs the help of Radar the Sniffer Dog. There is radar which indicates whether the player is getting cold (far from the person being rescued) or warm (closer). Navigating Radar the Sniffer Dog is done by pressing the arrow keys.

Burning Down: There are several fires occurring in Pontypandy. The game’s goal is to put out as many fires as the player with Fireman Sam can before time runs out.
