Fireman Sam is a Welsh firefighter in all living colors that a child would simply love looking at for a long time without being bored.  He is responsive as well as responsible member of the community in which he belongs and a doting uncle to his nephew and niece.  The series use soft visuals of stop-motion animation and everyone in the family would simply love to view the stunning colors of the adorable Welsh village.  The dialogues are funny while maintaining sense in the flow of conversation.  The story focuses on situations that the firefighter must face in order to save lives including a pet dog.  In one of Fireman Sam episodes, a child inadvertently knocked over a jack o’ lantern with a candle inside and a fire suddenly burst.  There was a serious damage but the lesson was conveyed to always be careful in everything that you do.  A parent is advised to stay close with the child and make him or her understand that everyone was safe in the end.

The Messages of each Fireman Sam Episodes

Fireman Sam episodes intend to promote positive messages to the viewers especially to children.  Fireman Sam can be seen as someone who can stay calm even if there is already a crisis and he never panics at whatever situation.  He does not work alone but relies on others to help as well and by promoting team work it can show the children that nothing is impossible if you will work together.

Some of the episodes may seem scary to other children especially the rescuing part but those are the reality in life.  The youngest viewer may find it frightening but at the end of each episode all the characters are safe.  It is enough for now for children to see that accidents do happen and they will learn later in life that it will not always have a good ending.

The Fireman Sam episodes are in Welsh accents as well as the expressions of the characters.  The episodes do not contain sexy stuff, there was no character that was drinking, smoking or taking drugs.  The episodes were created with children in mind although most adults enjoy watching it too.
